MSDGI advocacy, sensitization visit to Benin Central Mosque on the Effect of VAPP Law on GBV
By Ehis Agugu In continuance of the campaign for a more socially inclusive society where all are given equal opportunity to attain their highest potential, the Edo State Ministry of Social Development and Gender Issues (MSDGI) paid on Friday, March 18, 2022, advocacy and sensitization visit to the Benin Central Mosque. Speaking to the congregation just after they observed a revered moment of prayer and fellowship, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Barbara N. Osobajo urged everyone to take up the responsibility to make little contributions in our collective efforts to address the ills identified by the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Law. Represented by the Director of Gender Issues, Mrs J.I.
