SOLOMON ARASE, CHAIRMAN OF PSC, CONGRATULATES MEMBERS OF THE POLICE FORCE AND NIGERIAN WORKERS IN GENERAL, ON THE OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY
The Chairman of the Nigerian Police Service Commission Solomon Arase congratulates members of the Nigerian Police Force and all Nigerian workers on the occasion of the International Workers Day.
In a message signed by the PSC boss, he urged men and women of the Nigerian Police force to continually discharge their duties with utmost sense of patriotism and dedication. Noting that the development of every nation rest on the shoulders of it's labour force, hence the need to take time out and celebrate them for the humongous contributions they have made in time past, that has brought us this far.
"We recognize the contributions of Nigerian Workers and the Labour Unions in the growth and development of a virile nation, having stood as the intermediary between the government and the Nigerian people in the advancement of worker's welfare and wellbeing. We urge them not to relent in their positive contribution to the economy."
He urged the Nigerian Workers to continually give their best to the nation, to tow the path of peace and harmony in all their engagement.
"As we join the rest of the world to celebrate International Workers Day, I implore all workers to remain productive and dedicated to their line of duty. Despite the numerous challenges before us, the Nigerian government will continue to do it's best in the improvement of workers welfare at all levels."
