BOWFT 2022: Royal Queens planks RoyalToms 2 - 0, advanced into quarter-finals

The Royal Queens of Warri were dominant almost throughout, not much willing to part ways with the ball as they planked RoyalToms of Lagos 2 - 0. 


The win advanced Royal Queens into the quarter-finals of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT).


An opportunistic strike from Ola Olaronke in the first-half and a late penalty goal from Alexandra Isaac effectively settled the issue in favour of Royal Queens FC.


The annual Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT), now in its second edition, kicked off on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 and will run through Saturday, September 17, 2022, with the aim to drive the government’s campaign against drug abuse.
