Jennifer Ero explained: "good Samaritans in the community who usually feed him through the window because no access to the house informed her to intervene in his rescue before the child will die in the hands of his Mephistopheles parents".

She added that the child was neglected for months, thank God the child survived with the help of good Samaritans around and no one seems to know the whereabout of his parents.

"It breaks our heart to note that this inhuman treatment was melted on the child by his father, one 'Lucky Pius' and his step mother," said Ero.

Mr. Edward Osigbemhe, Director of Child Development of the ministry avowed that the baby will be taking to the hospital to ascertain his condition before deciding the next line of action.

"The child obviously needs medical and nutritional care and we need to evaluate the child's medical condition presently and of course, a safe shelter for the child while the parents will definitely be taken-up to face the wrath of the law," the director added.
