A Right to Reply: KASSIM AFEGBUA, A FAILED ATTEMPT TO DODGE REALITY.

...the blind showing the way. By Hon. Dave Osakpolor How easy it was for Kassim Afegbua to put together a political diatribe, in a dubious attempt to push over the failures of his APC-led Federal Government unto Governor Godwin Obaseki. His willingness to sacrifice truth on the alter of party differences is not only irritating but disenchanting. All of which clearly points to the quality of his personality, values and political ethics. If truth must be told, these roads are Federal Roads and constitutionally under the exclusive purview of the Federal Government. With the paucity of available funds, dwindling national revenue and wide spread poverty, occasioned by the clueless policy direction of the APC-led Federal Government. One would expect a responsible state government to give priorities to area of cogent primary concerns. Godwin Obaseki, having felt the pains of the people cannot even intervene with palliative measures on this roads. Because the federal government have state...

SOLUTION SUPPORT GROUP (OSARO ONAIWU 2024), BEMOANS THE FAILURE OF FEDERAL ROADS IN EDO... URGES STATE ACTORS TO HOLD APC-LED FEDERAL GOVT RESPONSIBLE

With the coming of heavy downpour, residents of Edo State have woken up to a sad reality, that most of the federal roads linking the state, if not all, is in a deplorable state. Many of them have become death traps, grounding business to a halt. Cutting short the lives of helpless citizens; spreading grief and sorrow. At the risk of sounding immodest, there are no pliable roads that leads into Edo State. The so-called Federal roads, linking Edo and the Neighboring states are in comatose. The Benin-Lagos express way is in a terrible state. The Ovia bridge axis of the road is a death trap, where numerous fatal accidents has been recorded. The Benin- Auchi- Abuja express way has been under construction for God knows how long. The road is littered with potholes. Insecurity has reached it's peak in this axis. With billions of naira lost to kidnappers. The state of the Benin-Akure express way and the Benin-Asaba express way are not in anyway different from  aforementioned. The Benin...

SOLUTION SUPPORT GROUP MOURNS CHIEF EDEBIRI

Image
It is with great sadness we write to sympathize with the family of Late Chief David Edebiri, who passed away on the 20th of July 2023, after a brief illness. The Odionwere of Benin, as he was fondly called was an intellectual who shared an unflinching interest in politics and governance of the Nigerian Nation. His advocacy for good governance, accountability and transparency will not be forgotten in a hurry. The Esogban of Benin Kingdom was a vocal voice in the traditional institution, respected for his wealth of experience in the tradition and culture of the kingdom. On behalf of the members of Osaro Onaiwu (SOLUTION) Support Group 2024, please accept our deepest condolences. As our heart is heavy with sympathy. "Indeed a good heart has stopped beating, but a heart that has touched so many lives can't help but live on in those it loved." Rest in Peace Odionwere! Signed: Hon. Shedrach Udugbai Spokesman Solution Support Group 2024
