Protests: Edo receives 784,000 litres of fuel as task force set to begin monitoring for distribution, pricing
The Edo State Government has said it is stepping up efforts to find lasting solutions to distribution hurdles and price hikes of petroleum products in the state, noting that the state has received 784,000 litres of fuel, which will be adequately monitored to ensure that the product is not diverted or sold at exorbitant prices to citizens. The Edo State Commissioner for Mining and Energy, Ethan Uzamere, while briefing journalists in Benin City, said the government is setting up a committee to address petroleum product scarcity and price hikes in the state.
